I have a personal feeling that At&t will soon start unlocking. Only because business travelers like me have told them we will not renew when the iphone 4 contracts are over. The reason being Verizon will unlock your Iphone for World Roaming after 60 days if your account is in good standing. Which makes sense, At&t does the same except for the Iphone.
Best best is to go on twitter and complain to @ATTCustomerCare

Consumer reports just rated them the worst in customer service for the 2nd year in a row. They will be desperate to keep you as a customer.

If not possible to unlock(or waiting too long) ,at least.. i hope that my 4s will be working with gevey sim soon

apple
never ever start or do unlock AT&T network iPhone from 2007 till now 2011 apple does not allow or unlock AT7T NETWORK even my contract is also ends but still they don't allow to unlock that phone also they give u new phone lock on AT&T ONE but never unlock it
