| Hello, if change the proxy sensor flex does not help, please check this : After a digitizer change, there sometimes can get a small amount of light out from the display, that trigger the proxy sensor, so it can't see when it is near a face. Solution is to us black tape around the proxy sensor, between the frame and digitizer. This problem is seem much more on iPhone 4 - and not on 4S (they have this fix from factory). |

| The iPhone screen was probably been replaced by a bad batch. Replacing the proximity fled will not help. Solution: Use a permanent black marker and coloured the digitizer. Put the iPhone back together "temporary (no screws)" and test the proximity sensitivity. If the LCD still doesn’t switch off during a call then apply more marker. If it doesn’t light up after a call then scratch the marked spot to shed more light. FIXSTATION – Australia leading mobile repair. |
