plz help i m trying to restore my i phone through i tunes , it always give me error i the end restore can not be completed in the end and my i phone shows only i tunes

Make sure iphone connected directly to pc usb port not on any hub .

download 4.0 firmware manually.connect iphone in recovery mode.hold shift button on keyboard while click on restore button.manually give the path where u download the firmware.all will be ok
