ios 6.0 for iphone 4s

respected sir i have a iphone 4s ios 5.0 running i want to update it on 5.1.1 but error comes 3194 in itunes please help how to update it on latest version .
if there is any new ios after 5.1.1 please post link

ios 5.1.1 is last version
ios 6 is beta version
error 3194 is host file problem
you need to edit host file

you need to hash out (#) any lines that have apple ip in them in your hosts file with a txt editor (notepad etc)

for example.......

74.28.196.83 gs.apple.com

to

#74.28.196.83 gs.apple.com
