Question Iphone 2G with grayed 'no wifi' problem

i have a problem with grayed wifi on iphone 2G , OS 3.1.2
I tryed almost every method existed :
downgrade it to 1.1.4 , + Ieraser of baseband , restore it to 1.1.4 ,using Ziphone to fix "no wifi" ,i used also Dev team fix wifi method with "swifi" file , "rest network setting" , upgrade to 2.2 + custom os 2.2 , almost every known method , need your help please , it seems to me hardware problem but didn't find wifi IC ,,

when i used SWIFI it says :

“wifi fixer
by MuscleNerd, gray, and the iPhone Dev Team
Actions taken:
Backup table checksum was corrected
Active table was restored from backup”

BUT didn't fix it...

You can wait for a baseband upgrade or heat up baseband chip. Recently I had the same issue, and I couldnt wait for a bb upgrade (who can) so I heated up bb chip and its on & perfect!

Dj.Nats,
Do you have idea of the cause of this problem? I have to use a heat gun for heat up baseband chip?

Thanks

Either you tried an update of firmware (which caused an bb update), or maybe you tried to jailbreak ur iphone or ,also possible, it was exposed to strange temperature conditions or fell down. Anyway, since bluetooth is working, means that chip is still alive and needs a "small push" to work properly. Yes you need a heat gun (not just any!) to fix it.

What´s the air temperature should I focus on bb chip? 200º C? And for how long?
