I have iphone 2g with version 3.1.3 I am unable to install skype.
I used wifi to install from app store but it gives tells to upgrade to 4.0 version.
I also tried by connecting my phone to pc itunes but there it also not accepting skype application. How to get skype on my iphone.

your iphone version should be upgraded..jailbreak with ios 4 to install skype

Do you mean I should Restore with 4.0 version or
I should only Jailbreak with 4.0.

dude without restoring iphone with new version you cannot jailbreak so first restore with 4.0 ny i tunes and jailbrak it with version 4.0

Latest version for iPhone 2G can only go upto 3.1.3,, there's no 4.0

try using and older version of skype and it may work and why not try installing the skype that @Gecko_uk gave you..

But iphone 2g latest version is 3.1.3. How will I restore it to 4.0 while itunes does not give me up version.
