Iphone 3G 4.1 / 5.14.02 : Advice needed - GSM-Forum

Hi to all,
My friend bring me his iphone 3G, 4.1 and BB updated some month ago.
I said to him to wait a little, because maybe an unlock will be avaible soon...
So now he is borring to wait (and i understand him by the way).
So did someone know if there is something planed for 3G ( i mean another BB update from apple or another unlock) ?
Did someone know if there is someone working on bootloader downgrade? cause i would like to have possibility to downgrade modem if i play with ipad baseband.

sir no way to downgrade

Bro, use redsnow, install cidya, install 6.15 ipad baseband...u will able to unlock it via ultrasnow....
But you will lose GPS.
