Iphone 3G corrupted baseband ?

Hi,

I've got an iphone 3G locked in recovery mode (only logo with cable) and when I

tried to restore it, there was always error 1002 at the end of the process !

I managed to get rid off this "error 1002" with Tinyumbrella but I'm still locked in recovery mode

(now it's logo + itunes + keyboard) but there's always a message ("Restore

needed , connect your phone to itunes...") and the phone reboots !

TinyUmbrella says in the Device Model : serial number + INVALID

The main problem now is that I can't put the phone in DFU mode in order to flash the baseband to 6.15.00 and to upgrade to firmware 4.2.1 hoping it will resolve that !

Is my phone really dead, in that case I'll throw it against a wall or is it

repairable ?

thanks

iphone 3gs, another service accepted to repair baseband problem (not working), reball baseband did nothing, and device will fell in hardware dfu, then device come to me...

I fix hardaware dfu by means of reball cpu unit, but problem with baseband still present (imei nothing and etc),
then I take donor baseband, baseband memory , and eep mem, then put it to device, but when device flashing itunes there was error 1002.
Trouble still present, tomorrow I chk voltage on max chip, and if voltage are present I try to take of baseband and flash custom to see errors.
