iPhone 3g DEAD

Customer brought 3g iPhone to me with broken screen in working condition. I have replaced the screen but phone wonít turn on after that. ITunes detected the phone in restore mode but no sign of DFU mode on the screen of iPhone. Iíll try to restore and process shows on the phone screen but after 60% turn off. iTunes gives error 6. Iíll try with 3.1.2 & 3.1.3
Previously iPhone was on 3.1.3 (05.11.07)

I have charged for two days but that not helped, then I used fully charged battery and phone worked fine, but battery is drying out very fast, even then phone is off.

check the battery line (+) and (-) maybe it is shorted

if found out that the phone is shorted try to clean first the whole board

if still the same problem you may need to change the PMIC

I have tried on three computers, changed phone usb port, tried different cables but same result. The restore process goes a little bit more than half way and then phone off. Error 6 from iTunes.
