Member: 514340 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 68 | iPhone 3G Major Problem ** Spinning Wheel of Death *** Here is my problem. I got an iPhone 3G with 4.1 and when you turn on all you see is Apple logo with spinning wheel on it. It does not go pass that. I tried resetting and restoring so many times. Here is what I tried so far - I tried Reseting the phone by holding power & home - Restored to 3.1.3, 4.0.1, 4.0.2, 4.1, 4.1.2 - Jailbroken to see if that helps - So far nothing worked..Itunes detects the phone and activates with the original sim but the screen does not go pass that spinning wheel & apple logo - Tried new lcd and digitizer, opened to see any hardware issue.seems nothing.. Please iPhone experts help. Thanks! |

Member: 458909 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 33 | Did you replace proximity sensor flex with new lcd/digitizer? If you did, i think the problem might be the proximity sensor connector on pcb. Usually ground doesnt connect properly. Disconnect flex and try to start your phone. Press thanks if this fix your problem. |
