| iphone 3g stuck on Apple Logo Guys, This is my situation, The phone is stuck on apple logo, It is not recognized by the itunes. I have kept my finger on the home button and power off/on button, the logo goes off, I give it 10 minutes and plug in the charger which is connected to laptop and logo shows up but nothing on laptop. Every 20 minutes or so it goes off for a second or so and back on. I have taken it apart and removed the battery, and also replaced the battery, and still the same. Nothing at all is recgonized when using the usb port. I have read the forums, but nothing there seems to help me. As I understand it, if I downloaded something to use on it, it won't work because it is not recgonized by the laptop in any way, Like if i use another iphone on it I can open it in documents/pictures etc and itunes So any help or advice would be great, thanks in advance guys. |

| I could do with an idiots guide to this please, as the iphone has nothing accessible on it, also a link to download the required tools. Never done anything like this and what i keep reading gets more complicated by the minute. iphone screen has a light grey background with iPhone 0n front a the scroll lock, then it goes on once swiped, to language, country-region,then location services, then wifi networks, then activating, it always fails. When on itunes it shows the above picture. So any help much appreciated., Thanks for help so far. |

I don't have original sim, Guy I bought phone off just for the screen at first, but was told it could be used, I believe he tried to Jailbreak himself, so that's why it was stuck on apple logo. Don't know what version it's on. | |
