iphone 3g wifi problem - GSM-Forum

i,v upgrade 3g iphone to firmware 4.01 and wifi stop working so i tried every trick but no luck then i downgrade it to 4.0 but still its same.
when i switch on wifi it keep on searching but search reslt is zero it search just for 2 to 5 seconds and stops.
i,v reset and all known tricks so plz if possible give me the answer if somone have face and fix this problem.

exactly the same problem...my i phone when i try to connect it says
''unable to join networks'' can anybody help??

@ who's Wifi Not working

If your wifi not working after jailbreak by spirit

Restore to 4.0 or Downgrade to 3.1.3 Jailbreak by Read snow Last Release

sure your wifi working fine after this

just add this source http:fishbone.ge in cydia and install push notification fix 100% solution.

use sim and activate gprs internet then do this step its worked for me many times

Nop...definitely AFTER downgrade from 4.0.1 to 3.1.2 WiFi stops to work on 2 3G...downgrade ,activated with iTunes and OneSim, jailBreak with RedSnow 9.3, and problem with WiFi appears...

Well...I was curios and tryed another thing...Restore with iTunes on 3.1.2 again, JailBreak with RedSnow 9.3 BUT checked on VerboseBoot (in first attempt only Cydia checked) and WiFi again work WO prob....to be sure the other one I again "flashed" with iTunes and 3.1.2 and JailBreak with RedSnow 9.3 with ONLY Cydia checked-and gess what...WiFi not work

The second one...updated to 3.1.3 with iTunes, activated and jailBraked with Spirit...WiFi NOT working..Reset Ntw Setings WiFi for moment work but again failed...so..downgrade to 3.1.2 or 3.1.3 with iTunes , JailBreak with RedSnow9.3 checked Cydia & VerboseBoot and WiFi gona work just fine...make Unlock true Cydia...

At the end I must agree for second one after some time WiFi stoped...rehoted WiFi module and it's owrking again...
