i got 3gs 3.1.3 locked on orange uk .... should i uprade it to v4.0.1 and unlock it ? or leave it on 3.1.3 and unlock it . caz i didnt read good reviews about v4.0.1

yes u can update your phone with 4.0.1 and unlock with ultrasnow

Just Leave it at 3.1.3 use Spirit to JailBreak then Unlock it.

P.S. Save shsh using Cydia for Future.

If u have iphone orginal sim or 3in1 sim
than upgrand 4.1 than active iphone than unlock
bro really 4.1 firmware is too fast

tried to update it to v4.0.1 and i got error 3194 .. maybe caz i had tinyumbrealla running let me turn it off ..

it is on 4.0.1 firmware. it was able to make emergency call only. now iphone is in DFU mode (like dead) only dected by itunes. what should i do please tell me in detail its my first time to unlock a iphone so please give me proper guide about needed firmware and its getting sides i don't have original sim card and any other thing except iphone and its data cable.
