iphone 3gs 4.1 with 06.15 bb stuck - GSM-Forum

Hey guys i recently bought an iPhone 3gs it had been jailbroken with redsn0w and unlocked with untrasn0w, and trying to get rid of the jailbreak and put it back to stock i restored it with iTunes, now it is stuck in the iTunes screen and i have spent many many many many hours trying everything from custom ipsw files to recboot and every other little program to solve this, if anybody knows of some secret solution i would be most appreciative, if not i will be selling on ebay as broken, thanks

which ipsw the last one you restore with it?

U need to use custom 4.1 file by using ireb and then reboot.

if u people wana write an answer so give a proper answer plz u can do it without a custom firmware as well just follow these istruction working 1000000000000%

1.first locate the host file which u will find in c/window/system 32/drivers/etc/host
2.open the file in note pad and remove very last 2 lines
3.now se ireb or redsnow new version any thing and put your phone in dfu mode
4.now u dont need a ustom firmware just use 4.1 firmwre and restore
5.when u get eror 1015 leave that i tunes open dont do any thing with it
6.now open tiny umbrela select your device and press exit recovery
7.then come back to i tunes which was open if that eror 1015 there quickly pres ok
thats all u need to do
trust me mate that workd for me

I tried as u explained but it's always on recovery mode.

pls any other solution pls ?

Ok I Have same phone same basebund

First make this steps
1.first locate the host file which u will find in c/window/system 32/drivers/etc/host
2.open the file in note pad and remove very last 2 lines
3.now se ireb or redsnow new version any thing and put your phone in dfu mode
4.now u dont need a ustom firmware just use 4.1 firmwre and restore
5.when u get eror 1015 leave that i tunes open dont do any thing with it
then what changed

6. downlaod redsn0w_0.9.8b7c browse 4.1 firmware and select only deactivate
7. after done, you will come to the activate with orginal sim
8. run again redsnow and only select install cydia and you done :-)

Thats the simpel version, run step 8 only if you will jailbrek you phone :-)

u guys are good at doin copy
again my instructions are same u guys dont need a custom firmware
when u flash ur phone first time just put ur phone in dfu and flash it with 4.1
then u will get the eror 1015 now without dfu mode flash it with 4.1 again
u will get rocovery mode again and eror 1015 this time open tiny umbreala and exit recovery bounce bk to the i tunes and pres ok to the eror 1015 ur done
