hi

is it possible to unlock iphone 3gs on 4.2.1 via the modem update to 06.15....

or poss to downgrade 3gs 4.2.1 to 4.1? , for the new bootrom

If possible can giv instrunctions on how to do it?

it's supported with 3g only .... i have tested it many times before with 3gs no sucess ..

downgrade by tinyUmbrella v4.21.2

Process is simple

Install Cydia, Upgrade Baseband to 6.15

Install Ultrasnow, Done you are.

But, phone will stuck if you turn it off, you will need Redsn0w again to boot just tethered.

maybe he use an ibook and he jailbreak unthetered
how do u now?

if you downgrade to 4.1 you phone will stuck in dfu mode (if you have newboot) .and maybe will have trouble

tested), so you can stay in 4.2.1 tethered untel final jailbreak will be out
see if its MC or MB model
