Downgrade it ... Put it in DFU and then restore with 4.1 ... Use Recboot to kick out of recovery and then unlock as required ...

What mode are you trying to restore it from ???

i try in dfu , in restore mode but no sucess!!!

Edit ur host file accordingly and then try ... worked for me !!!!!!!!!!

even if he dongrades the baseband will stay the same
unlock is baseband related so you cannot unlock it for now..
by the way if you dont have SHSH dont try it..
it wont work for shure..

My problem is similar. I have a 3Gs that was upgraded to 4.3, ie 5:16:01 BB was running with Ipod, because I still had not managed to unlock. The fact was that I let the battery discharge and remained on the screen except the battery with a red fiosinho and could not do iBoot. So I tried to do the restore via iTunes and Apple in to scan the error of 3194. I tried all the tips youtube etc forums. host, watch windows ... and nothing. and I have saved the SHSH ra resolve via Tinyumbrella Please help me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unlocked Succsesfully Iphone 3gs version : 4.3 and baseband 5.16.01
TESTED BY ME AND WORKING 100%

1 ) Open Tinyumbrella latest version and ( SAVE SHSH )
2 ) Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc --> Open Hosts and remove gs apple.
3 ) Restore to 4.1
4 ) Apple Stock Logo
5 ) Open Redsn0w 0.9.8b1 Open IPSW 4.1 and put into DFU MODE
6 ) Download or make on Custom IPSW ( 4.1 ) with Sn0wbreeze
7 ) Restore with Custom IPSW 4.1 ( ITUNES )
8 ) Open Redsn0w 0.9.8b1 and open ipsw 4.1 not custom and install IPAD baseband
9 ) After 4-5 min u'r iphone will be restart and Congrelations u have baseband 6.15.00
10 ) And UNLOCK IT WITH ULTRASN0W.....
