iPhone 3GS 4.3.5 6.15BB stuck in recovery

Customer bought me in an iPhone 3GS which they say they had jailbroken a couple of months back, im assuming the phone has 6.15 BB because iTunes keeps throwing out error 1015.

I have tried creating custom firmware for 4.1 & 4.2.1 using sn0wbreeze but no luck, 4.1 wont even restore, just keeps saying waiting for iphone to restore until eventually timing out and giving error 1604, i tried custom 4.2.1 and gives me error cant remember the number.

Even tried deleting entry in hosts file but no luck so also tried with hosts file modified and TSS server on but no luck.

I have checked for saved SHSH using TinyUmbrella and iFaith, but states no SHSH saved so TSS server wont do anything.

Customer is not fussed about unlocking the handset again, just wants it back on again so can use as iPod and for Wifi browsing.

Have a feeling going to have to wait for iPhone 4S/5 and new sn0wbreeze/jailbreak to get this back on?

ANY HELP would be greatfully appreciated

use rsdsn0w to put into pwned dfu mode, then restore w/ 4.1. if still in recovery use ireb or tiny umbrella to kick out. if still in recovery, re restore w/4.1 and then kick out. sometimes you have to restore twice

use this procedure:
1-clear any adress server apple server in your file host and save your file
2-use ireb to put your iphone in dfu mode
3-launch itunes and restore your iphone with customer firmware (4.1)
4-if you get error 1015 after restore ,use ireb and fix it or tinyumbrella
5-use redsnow for jailbreak

110% i tried this and it worked, you must use redsn0w and select the Deactivate part, then you use itunes to load latest firmware or you can use 4.1 snowbreeze firmware, this is still signed by apple.

Have already tried this way with 4.1 custom fw and when i try and restore with pwned dfu mode done with iReb i get error (20)

Tried two different computers and keeps giving error code (20) when trying to restore custom firmware 4.1 in pwned dfu mode. It fails on the point where it says preparing iphone for restore, so surely this is because this is no longer signed by Apple?

Have just checked tinyumbrella for saved SHSH blobs for this device, manually entere ECID info by using USBView and it comes up with 4.1, 4.2.1 & 4.3.3 so in theory i should be able to use tinyumbrella so i start TSS server put phone in pwned DFU mode and restore to custom 4.1 FW but still error (20).

The problem is tinyumbrella showing 3 SHSH blobs when i enter manual ECID but when i connect phone it shows at the bottom that that device the blobs relate to is not connected?

as long as iphone in recovery mode umbrella wont detect its ECID if u got it manually u should be fine
just hit start server and restore with one of the versions ur shsh

FINALLY restored with 4.3.3 and using Tinyumbrella TSS server and pwned DFU mode!

I used iReb-r4 and sn0wbreeze 2.1 for custom firmware
