Iphone 3GS 5.15.04 / 4.2.1 Poor GPS and Overheating

I thought this problem was only on the ipaa baseband , yesterday i checked my iphone and it is jailbroken, i used tomtom in it and the singnals were poor, they used to come for couple of seconds and the go away again.
Plus the phone was overheating

is there a fix?

You are not alone, i have the same problem but have given up, i noticed this after upgrading to ios 4.2.1 with a pwnage tool cooked firmware, I later then upgraded to 4..3.1 also with a pwnage tool cooked firmware but the same thing, i was thinking pwnage tool cooked firmware was the problem and I couldnīt with a stock firmware because of my baseband, iphone 3gs, new bootrom, baseband 5.13.04, so now i am on 4.3.2 firmware cooked with snowbreeze but still no steady gps, i get gps only when i am driving on the highway but not in builtup areas, iphone native map sees me my correct location when i have internet access.
Though i have given up on this problem and moved forward, my idevice is not getting hot though but the gps issue is my nightmare.
