Hello everyone
I have this phone which camera was not working.
when i click on the camera on the main menu it opens the application but it stays shut with a barrier on it and i cant take picture and anything, everything is disabled.

I tried a restore but nothing
I replaced the camera with a new one but nothing
can someone tell me what can be the problem?

This is the connector and from the picture it as you can see there is nothing wrong with it

whats it doing.. I had one that was turning the screen green after i replaced it with another camera. I then replaced the new one with another camera and it ended up working. So try another one. my advice

vadimv 08-14-2010 20:53

it writes something when you turn on camera from menu or nothing happens, cause i had a problem with camera, when turning on writes that there is not enough space, and after reflashing all ok! solved!

cpu2007 08-14-2010 21:30

it does not write anything
you know when on iphone you open the camera application and there is this closed shutter (spiral style) that opens.
In my case this shutter stays closed and all the button like taking picture button stays disabled.

Try another camera.. you may have gotten a bad one. Mine did the same thing with the first camera but then i changed it, it went, green(thought it was the board) ordered another camera and it worked fine.

I did resold that but still doesn't work. do not open shatter.

Have same issue with no resolve yet.

. Connector is fine. camera is fine. What can be done on the logic board of the 3GS to fix this.
