iphone 3gs cannot activate today, always say wrong sim even with original AT&T

Anyone tried to unlock any iphone 3gs TODAY! (used to be 3.1.2 new boot and updated to 3.1.3 to unplug after firmware restoration) but suddenly today! I cannot make it to activated every time I put original AT&T simcard always asking me to insert a right simcard even though it's the orignal simcard installed inside.

I'm thinking that Apple (itunes now can detect that if you have non active simcard so it won't let us to activate the iphone that has been updated and try to unlock for other network at all...

Please anyone tried and post result if you have the same problem as I do!

Yes, i think you're right.
Apple or AT&T has changed the activting process.

I've tried to activate different phones and getting new messages from iTunes.
1.) The same as mymiela described. "insert right simcard" (i know it is the right 'cause i've used the card several times without any problems!)
2.) They want my postalcode and the last 4 digits of my sozialnumber for activating???

I think they are checking if you use the sim or not. And if you don't use the sim, you won't be able to activate the iPhone

Solution was to use a already activated custom firmware.

Sometimes i had to go back to original 3.0 Firmware and then use activated custom firmware.
