Iphone 3gs CANT ENTER DFU
 

Respected members, i have iphone 3gs i cant restore with itunes because when try restore the itunes show: ERROR 1611
Try put in dfu mode with ireb -r4 with redsnow 0.98b7c, Limera, and Green oison RC6, but cant put in DFU mode.
The iphone is 3gs firmaware 4.3.5 and base band 06.15

try to change your USB cable or try to switch with other port of USB in your computer or try with different computers

i have same problem, i try to change USB cable , switch with other port , with different computers but i phone is not going in dfu mode any other solution plsssssssssssss help me

Finally is fixed thnks to mr hm. faizan
- Replace the module data connector ( this have the buttom home connection)
- Use the ireb-r4 for put in DFU
- Flash with custom firmware 3gs version 4.1 maked with snowbreeze 2.1
- Itunes give me error 26 and the iphone stuck in recovery mode
- Exit recovery with umbrella 5.0.10
- Open Cydia but cant reload changes, the cydia saysme : unable to download you dont have permission
- Now with iphone in normal mode flash with original firmware 4.1, restore option
- Again error 26, exit recovery with umbrella
- Jailbreak with redsnow 0.9.6rc8
- Finally y can open cydia and unlock with ultrasn0w

So, I have jailbroken a fair number of iPhones. From the first to the last generation. I friend got an old iPhone 3GS and was thinking of buying the iPhone 4 so the 3GS is like a tryout. Anyway, I went there are tried to jailbreak it with Greenpois0n. What happened? The phone can't go into DFU mode!
I tried more than 50 times, honest! I even tried with Limera1n which I don't like much. I just prefer GreenPois0n. Both of those softwares says: Try again!
I follow the instructions just as it says in the small windows but in the end it says: Try again!What could be the problem? I watched over 100 videos on youtube on how to jailbreak a 3GS but nothing. And yes, it's running a 4.1. Also there is something odd, when I double press the home button, it does not start up multitasking but Favorites. Maybe it's connected somehow?
