Iphone 3gs new box opened 4.2.1 bb 06.15 old boot rom no service problem - GSM-Forum

I have unlocked many iphone with ultrasnow 1.2 but today i unlocked two iphone 3gs but one phone says no service plz help.

I did this procedure, phone was box packed new phone with old boot rom , it was 4.1 base with 5.14 so i upgraded the base band to 06.15.00 and installed cydia then used ultra snow 1.2 fully upgraded cydia but i got no service problem.then i updated with 4.2.1 original fw and custom 4.2.1 fw and even upgraded base band one more time and updated cydia but still i get no service .

Plz can anyone help me plzzzzz.

Well sounds silly but try rebooting the phone 2 to 3 times ... use redsn0w and boot threaded ...

press your model, then do instructions, after that just restore with CUSTOM FILE, ONLY CUSTOM FILE!!!
Your phone will be 1000% working, I have repaired phones with this solution.

hey bro,
I have the same problem... iphone 3gs old bootrom ... and no service. Sometimes it fixes by itslef, its unpredictable ... btw i m restored to the original firmware and the problem was not solved. do u have any idea what could be the problem?
