IPhone 3GS - No Logo - DFU and Error 21 in iTunes - GSM-Forum

Hi,

I broke an iphone (hard hit on ground). It broke the LCD, which I replaced succesfully. However since, the iPhone remains in DFU. Going into iTunes it prompts recover... which I try, but it fails systematically. Running IOS 5.1.1 prior the smash... The iPhone does not display ANY APPLE LOGO, BUT
- You see screen low dim bright when initiating the restore. Generally in itunes, the log reports something like :
2012-05-20 20:06:01.264 [5520:bf0]: _AMRUSBGetLastError: error 50
2012-05-20 20:06:01.264 [5520:bf0]: AMDeviceIoControl: failed, error 50, usbd status c0000000

- I have tried tools like Redsnow and ramdisk gets created, I get the boot on LCD up and then a DEVICE I/O ERROR when ramdisk trying to mount the /disk0S2S1

1/ I have eliminated problem with LCD since it displays stuff with redsnow, snowbreeze
2/ I have tried different computers, different USB Cable, Pwaned DFU mode restore... same error 21 or sometimes 1600
3/ I check battery (I cannot see...) but I tested voltage before and after charge on 2 point on logic board and seems the battery retains the charge. I let it charge to see. No different
It is just I have a iPhone in DFU that cnanot restore. I head toward a HW issue now...
4/ I am thinking either a USB port issue or a logic board issue.
5/ iPhone out of warranty... otherwise would bring it back already

hi brother. if you have an other iphone. just open it and replaced the pcb. then you should try to recover with redsnow. because im sure doc and bettery of your iphone have fault.

Thanks, but i do notnhave another pcb... So i am looking a ways to repair it'.. I saw white's posts and was hoping so guidance there...
