hi,i got a 3gs stuck in dfu mode,i tried to update this phone to 3.1.3 using itunes but it never ends the process as it says "unable to update iphone firmware".unknown error(29)

can anybody please help me out,i have a broken iphone and i dont know what to do to fix this problem.

i also tried to update to 3.1.2 using itunes but says firmware not good,can anybody give me an hand?

If it's under warranty take it back to Apple and have them exchange it. If no warranty you may be holding on to a door stop I'm afraid.

is this problem so impossible to be solved? dont tell i dont have hopes its really like this?

there should be a solution to this problem

Yes mate you have a solution but i have doubt ,bcs if you read here : http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f456...estore-924142/

you can se that its a hard way now to restore with itunes.
But i think that you can get a solution just find a time and read little here on forum

u cant restore back ur 3gs to 3.1.2... try to update again with 3.1.3.. i had same problem error 29 in itunes. i tried to restore again with 3.1.3 fw with itunes latest version & all ok.

at the end i dont know how but the phone started working again,i sadly left my iphone in the table last night and this morning it works,ahahahaha incredible!

Because Apple has stopped signing older firmware version for 3Gs.At the moment to revive the handset in normal mode is to restore with 3.1.3 Original firmware.

Or else better wait Unlocking Team's to release solution.
