Iphone 3GS stuck in recovery mode - error 1015

Hi,

i am trying to fix my iphone for 2-3 days, but unsuccesfull

I have iphone 3gs, which was version 4.2.1 with ipad baseband 6.15.0, it was jailbreeaked and unlocked with ultrasn0w. Accidently that iphone was put on restore on itunes 5 days ago, so itunes tried to update it to version 4.3.5. On the end of process itunes showed error 1015, and didnt finish update, and iphone is from that time stucked in recovery mode.

I tried to restore it to 4.2.1 version, but i got error 3194, and yes, i did modified my hosts file. I edited host file manually, and also tried with TinyUmbrella setting this host file, with no success. Always same error 3194 with CUSTOM 4.2.1 firmware. When i started TSS server on TinyUmbrella i didnt get that error, but randome other ones

I cant try to exit recovery mode on TinyUmbrella because i dont see my iphone recognized on it, and those options are grayed.

I also tried with fixrecovery43, and fixrecovery421 without success. I tried both because i dont know which version is in my iphone right now?

I tried to jailbreak it again with redsn0w, but i didnt managed to do that, because process didnt finish, and i see only "Please wait" lines on black screen repetaing...

use tiny umbrela to get out from dfu mod thn jailbreak ur phone is ok now

Run Ireb4 {fone will become on dfu mode}

Make custom firmware 4.1 via sn0wbreeze 2.1 and flash it via itunes

unlock via ultrasn0w

in your case it works only with customised firmware ( version 4.1) using sn0wbreez 2.0.1

i used latest solution, and i managed to complete restore with customized 4.2.1 for 3gs, but now i am stacked in DFU mode - black screen. Jailbreaking with redsn0w again didnt help

what now?

Hello bro,
first pls if you use last I Tunes ver uninstall it and install i tunes ver 10.4
1- put your i phone in DFU mode and flash your phone with Official 3Gs Ipsw ver (4.1).
2- After your idevice finished restoring you will get error 1015.
3-now Use iREB to go out Recovery mode.
4- it's time to Jailbreak and install ipad baseband into your phone and then unlock it .

i Would be happy if you follow the steps and put the result.
Note : i don't use (tinyumberlla) also not modify my host file

SOLVED:

- I manually saved my shsh on TinyUmbrella.
- on redsn0w i get my iphone to pwne dfu mode
- started TSS server on TinyUmbrella
- on Itunes choosed my custom restore file made with sn0wbreeze version 4.1 and succesfully restored it
- iphone was already jailbreaked and activated, i later just unlocked it with ultrasn0w
