Member: 696488 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | Iphone 3GS stuck on Restore I have a problem with my 3GS. I bought it on ebay, but I can't get it working. I don't know which baseband it has, or which firmware. I tried some things, bug i'm stuck here. Plese help me. I'm Runing Win 7 X64 with Itunes 10. I tried the following, but I'm getting Error 1611 in Itunes. And if I'm going on this how to, I'm stuck at an ananas boot screen. What should I do know? Please Help Me get it back working. Quote:

Member: 125632 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 233 | Error 1611 iTunes tried to enter the Restore Mode, but the device turned back to the Recovery Mode and ur using win7 x64.....lol get tiny umbrella,,, right click it and run as administrater, save ur shsh,,, also if you have shsh from earlier saved,,,then it show you... u also see what installed at the moment... you might have to run itunes in compatibillity mode,,not quite sure bout that,, it wont do any harm anyway. right click itunes,,properties,,compat...etc..etc.. choose xp 32bit,,then apply,,then ok,,,then right click itune again,,run as admin... try that |

Member: 696488 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | Tiny Umbrella says "This device is not connected" I don't have any shshs files. I've replaced the battery today, but it still gets error 1611. I've tried the how to again, and this time there where much more text on the screen, and I didn't get stucked at the ananas. It was just rebooting. But than I was stuck again at the "connect with itunes" screen... "Just boot tethered right now" doesn't work for me. I think my Iphone has no Operating System, so there is nothing to boot for it. But I can't restore, I'm still getting error 1611 |
