1. Download Evasi0n
2. Make sure you backup your phone to avoid losing ur data
3. Remove any lock code
4. Connect ur phone and run Evasi0n
5. Fallow the steps
6. After cydia is on your screen add repo666.ultrasn0w.com source
7. Then go on search and type ~ultrasn0w~ and run it
8. Job done ... u have an unlock and JB iphone 3gs 6.X

About the frimware can be even ipad baseband or downgrade on 05.13.04 in both case working perfect (in case u have ipad baseband and after all this u have searching just reflash the ipad baseband and phone will be ok.)

just a heads up for anyone having difficulty using redsn0w after evais0n to select ipsw 6.1
select ios 6.0 instead and install/downgrade ipad baseband and then install ultrasn0w

i cant update my bb to ipad bb with redsnow in os 6.1 by selecting 6.0?what s the solution

Try this

1. If you have bb 06.15 and ios 6.X the phone without sim show searching
2. Open Redsn0w
3. Go to Extra
4. Select frimware 6.0
5. Go back and press jailbreak
6. Uncheck the ~install cydia~ and sellect only Downgrade BaseBand
7. After that do a normal restore whit itunes whit accepted sim inside and u are done.

But if u upgrade on 6.1 just downgrade to 05.13.04 and u dont need the ipad baseband, but if u wish to have ipad baseband on ur phone make sure ur baseband can be upgrade to ipad baseband ( iphone checker )

try is no risk... if no working just update the ipad baseband and you are DONE

or just backup your phone and restore on 6.1 and fallow the steps from this initial post u need 10 min to do all this ....
