Hello!
Try This:
I used redsn0w_win_0.9.6rc16.zip file to unlock my iPhone, during the Cydia
installation I also updated my baseband to Ipad baseband. thats it and I
installed ultrasn0w later from cydia. and phone started working fine without
any issues.
Also the IPSW file was iPhone2,1_4.3.3_8J2_Restore.ipsw
Regards
Haicha

WARNING: Updating the iPad baseband on 3GS you will loose permanently the G.P.S.

I know for many people isn't a problem, but if you don't want to kill 4ever your GPS you can simply restore stock firmware 4.3.3 and buy a Gevey Sim.

PS: Gevey sim will stop work with iOS 5.0 beta 2

I now some phones loose GPS.But the best solution is not any Sim

without any problem.

I pay Gevey sims 4 pounds... and an unlock code 100€ (One is permanent until the phone will have iOS 4.3.3 and the price affordable, the second is totally definitive but expensive)

upgrading the ipad baseband isn't a clean work for me (ok i know it's totally free), was the unique solution some time ago, now, i see many topics every day, users after ipad baseband will have upgrade problems, signal problems, GPS...

I'm a iPhone user, i simply love my iphone... i upgrade the baseband too, but only if *******r knows well the risks (and don't want to spend 10/15€ in plus for a better and non destructive solution)
