iPhone 3GS version 4.2.1, ERROR 1015, I cannot find real solution here, need help!


Hello every one, first of all customer brought me this iphone 3GS that is already on RECOVERY MODE that he tried to unlock himself and now every time I tried to restore it say ERROR 1015. I did research it here but all I see at the end is all unsuccessful or thread starter never reply anymore if he did fully repair it or not.

Please kindly post any successful iphone 3GS version 4.2.1 that is on RECOVERY MODE with ERROR 1015 every time I tried to restore from iTunes using original IPSW.

Hope you can help me, thank you very much!
to give me the right solutions for this iphopne 3GS.

That happened to me. Use redsn0w. Note you will be on the 6.15 baseband which will mess up the gps. Have to wait for dev team for the fix.

iREB and RECBOOT doesn't work because is on version 4.2.1. Thank you
