iPhone 3gs while restoring getting error 9 - GSM-Forum

Hi, Got an i phone 3gs on recovery mode. When I try to flash with 4.2.1 always getting error 9. I even processed with ireb but getting same error msg. Can any one help me how to solve this> I even changed several pc but same result.

try with tinyumbrella,exit recovery option is ther,just connet your phone with tyni and press exit recovery.try and post result

Hi, Thanks for the answer, yes I did try with tiniumbrella latest one, but can't get out of receovery mode.

remove the battery for some minutes,charge it with desktop charger then connect the battery back and restore again.it will solve ur problem

its a hardware trouble..no solution....only experts can fix it.....i had the same situation..tried in 3 pc's with many usb cable...but same result....

Yeah, i´m almost quiting from a 3g stucked in dfu mode. Always error 6 and i will accept it hw prob, beside i´ve checked pcb carefully and couldnt find n fail.

try to downgrade to 4.1 if you had an error 9 again.. use tiny umbrella to exit recovery mode..

i have one right now but no imei no wifi no bluetooth ahhh

somebody needs help here

friend i have done error 1015 and error9 on iphone 3gs
i tries 5/6 time restore attemt with latest itunes and online restored firmware
all is well
