iphone 4.2.1 3g stuck on the apple logo...!! - GSM-Forum

hi all,i got an iphone 3g 4.2.1 which is stuck on the apple logo.i tried everything but nothing worked!

at first i tried to flash it with the normal apple firmware and it gave me error 1015 i tried to use tinyumbrella but never got out of recovery mode,then i tried to flash it with snowbreeze firmware and with the custom firmware of this post:

and i didnt get error 1015(FINALLY!!!) but now the phone looks like it would work but its still stuck on the apple screen,i think its pretty weird since if itunes doesnt give me any error the phone should start up just fine but its not like that!

please can anybody give me an advice about solving this great problem i have?

P.S:if i use greenpois0n,even though i put correctly the phone in dfu mode,the software doesnt understand that the phone is in DFU mode,WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same happend to me the phone its tethered i think, i solved this way:

First i uploaded original firmware 4.2.1 from apple, this caused me error 1015,closed itunes, after that i opened tinyumbrella and started tstt server, with redsn0w i entered into pwned dfu mode and again open itunes and use the custom firmware that you will make with the sn0wbreeze using only "hactivation" and thats all, after custom firmware update will be working, just in cydia download ultrasn0w for unlock.

hi,im trying to follow what u told me but it doesnt let me start the tstt server when i open tinyumbrella,is there a reason for that?
