i have iphone 3gs -version -4.2.1(8c148a) modem-06.15.00
i update by itune now me always face error 1015 how i can remove this plz
i did change pc, change port, change cable ,also but problem still same .
how i can do that.

2. Redsnow - http://sites.google.com/a/iphone-dev...edirects=0&d=1

1. Connect your phone with PC and switch off...

2. Open redsnow and choose Original firmware...

3. If you have newboot just press "yes"

4. now click "Next"

5. Choose "Just Enter pwned DFU mode right now"

6 now click "Next" again "Next" and follow the screen....

After that open itunes and press "Shift + Restore" and choose custom firmware 4.2.1...

it will finish very quickly ......

1. Open redsnow and choose Original firmware...

2. If you have newboot just press "yes"

3. now click "Next"

4. Choose Only "Install Cydia and ipad basband

5. now click "Next" again "Next" and follow the screen....

If you r getting White Cydia Icon just switch of your phone and open redsnow choose Stock firmware 4.2.1 and choose the option "thean use greenpoison new version. and jailbrak

1. first brows firmware 4.2.1 orginal firmware not custom firmware
2. click yes, next
3. tick install cydia and i padbasband, next

thean use the following instructions in dfu mode

but when start to redsnow
1 - did it
3- but i saw 4 option
1is-insttal cydia
2-insttal custom bundle
3-just boot thetered right
4- just enter pwnd dfu mode right now

i dont see i padbasband option .
plz help urgent..

i have resnow version- redsn0w_win_0.9.6rc8

(iPhone3,1_4.2.1_8C148_Restore)this is 4g file.use 3gs 4.2.1 file .
only just tick cydia and do it

Hi
I updated my IPHONE 3GS to 4.2.1, 6.15.00 and then again i updated with the original 4.2.1. My iphone now is stuck on recovery mode. its not going back to DFU mode.and im also unable to install the custom firmware. Im totally lost. pls help....

Install latest version of Itunes 10.1.2 on your pc . Sync your device and backup all data .
Download 4.2.1 ipsw file for your device and place it on your desktop
Download Snowbreeze 4.2.1 Jailbreak for Windows and run on your device. Make sure you have .Net installed on your PC . Download Link available on the same page for Snowbreeze 2.2 download. [IMG]http://www.****************.org/wp-content/uploads/Sn0wbreeze-4.2.jpg[/IMG]
Now in Snow breeze application windows choose "Expert Mode". [IMG]http://www.****************.org/wp-content/uploads/Sn0wbreeze-2.2-jailbreak-4.2.1.jpg[/IMG]
Select the ipsw file downloaded in Step 2 and proceed by accepting the notice.
In the next steps you can check to "Activate the iPhone" if you are not on the official carrier . This will hactivate your phone . [IMG]http://www.****************.org/wp-content/uploads/Sn0wbreeze-4.2.1-iphone-4-jailbreak.jpg[/IMG]
Select "build ipsw" and allow SnowBreeze to make the custom ipsw firmware file for your device.
Next step after the custom ipsw firmware file is built , you have to Restore your device to this firmware .
Start iTunes and press hold "Shift" Button on your keyboard and click Restore on iTunes . This will prompt you to choose the ipsw file of the custom-built firmware you just created with Snowbreeze. Select the appropriate file and allow iTunes to restore it to your device.
You phone will now restart for the changes to take effect .
Restore your device to the backup created earlier in Step 1 to get back all data fyour previous sync .
