iPhone 4 4.0.2(8A400) how to unlock - GSM-Forum

Hi, I was trying to unlock iphone 4, 4.0.2(8A400) with limlimara1n, but shows jailbreaked ok but no cydia installing, done several time but no cydia. Can any one tell me step by step how to unlock this version. Thanks

Use Redsn0w 0.9.5b5-5 and jailbreak, You must have ipsw file to do this.

Use Limera1n to jailbreak , after install cydia on the phone , from cydia install repo666.
Your phone now is unlocked!

Hi, But Limara1n can't install cydia.

Yes , you will see limera1n icon your iphone , then from limera1n you can install cydia:
Dont forget to open itunes when you use limera1n:

After doing limerain procedure open limerain icon on iphone and mark cydia and press install...Make sure phone connected to wifi.....

Well i have done with redsnow but cydia is white and not opening., how to solve this.

Update ur cydia By installing it manualy from iphonebrowser if and only if its jailbroken fo to private /root/(Sorry i forgot this just check in root the second one and find cydia auto install and place the deb file there and restart ur iphone) Hope this help

problem finished use redsn0w_win_0.9.6b5 use this firmware (iPhone3,1_4.2.1_8C148_Restore) all is okay for jailbreak and than all is okay
