iPhone 4 4.0.2 after ultrasn0w shows sometimes Invalid sim - GSM-Forum

Hello

I have an iPhone 4 with firmware 4.0.2, modem version 1.59.00. Done jailbreak with limera1n, installed Cydia and after ultrasn0w. it was activated with original carrier sim so i didn`t have to do the Hacktivation patch. after inserting different carrier sim i got network and made calls for half a day, after that it showed Invalid sim. restarted the pohone-still the same. after some time and several Airplane mode on/off switching i got network again...and after some time all the same - invalid sim. reinstalled ultrasn0w several times, sometimes it shows No network and sometimes Invalid sim. on original sim it works perfect....

reset network settings also works for a while

anyone had such a thing?

Faced same problem today with "not valid sim" or " no network" need to restart few times !!

sir remove ultrasn0w then reinstall it again then reaboat

all willl be ok

It usually happen when I reboot the phone so I reboot it the second time and it work

Do same steps again and it will work ..i had same problem but solved repeated same steps...for unlocking

For me again uninstall/install of ultrasn0w same problem !!

Preserve BB and restore with same firmware and follow the same steps ...

it worked for me few weeks back ...

just try to reset network setting and then ur prob will be solved i am tested on many iphone 4..............................

not working with me i-phone 4g bb 5.14.00 at&t i already un install and re install ultrasnow but still no networksometimes searching and sometimes invalid sim..anybody have good solution

hello were u able to solve ur problem? I HAVE THE SAME problem with 3 pieces that i unlocked yesterday. all are iphone4 4.1 with 1.59 baseband. no network after jailbreak and unlock.

simple u should do reset network setting tested

i did it many times. also i uninstalled and reinstalled ultrasnow but same problem.

it works for some time, i wrote before, but still it makes problems sometimes. it seems that we simply have to live with it, doubt that there`s anything to do with this version of ultrasn0w

I hope we don't have to live with this issue. I missed today some important calls as I rebooted and the unlock didn't load properly. Probably it's a bug they have to work out. Maybe just a little change in their implementation could help.

I missed today some important calls as I rebooted and the unlock didn't load properly. Probably it's a bug they have to work out. Maybe just a little change in their implementation could help.
