iphone 3g WIFI not found - GSM-Forum

I have iphone 3g with version 3.1.2 modem firmware 05.12.01. this phone is working fine but the WI-FI does not recognized any wireless around. do i need to restore it? or is hardware?

restor with version 4.1 or 4.0 with itunes and jaerlbreck with lemr1 al is ok post your rest after test

I had around 10 pcs like that. Allways hardware. Just reflow wifi module.

it can also have hardware fault if ur prblm is still same

This is regular problem in iPhone 3G

try out with retore with latest updates of i tunes bro... if its not successfull th jus go on with hard ware... but its bit risky...

There is no risk at all. It is one of the simplest hardware jobs you can do on iphone. And 99% you dont need to change wifi module - just reflow it.

dude its risk wen we r removing the display it will get damage easily... only experianced persons can do...
