Member: 1733457 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | iPhone 4 and 4s No Power Unless Plugged in?? I have 2 clients iPhones that both have the same problem... There is an iPhone 4 and there is an iPhone 4s that both will only power on when usb is plugged into charging port? Changed the batteries but still not working?? They both have water damage and were cleaned with alcohol but now they have this problem and will only turn on when charging port is plugged in? Help? |

Member: 1205146 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 879 | I mostly fix this problem by changing the battery. Sometimes : If i found the battery connector pinout damaged, then i replace the connecter. Have you tried these both solutions ? LITTLE MASTER |

Member: 1205146 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 879 | You can do an experiment as well. All iphones turn on without the battery, just plug in the charger . but you will see : " SEARCHING ... " on top left instead of " NO SIM " or sometimes if you turn on without the battery , it shows you ACTIVATION SCREEN. LITTLE MASTER |

Member: 1841530 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 3 | change the charging port, if it is water damaged it could be powering on the phones but not putting power into the battery. if this is not the case check all connector pins and fuses (e.g. small blue chip at bottom of motherboard) |
