Member: 2454349 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | IPhone 4s charge/power problem Phone died after 3 or 4 days of being sat (switched on) Plugged it in this morning and got the charge battery icon on the screen.....had a new screen to fit so decided to disconnect and test new screen using a direct power supply (as I usually do if I have a dead battery ) My power supply as soon as it was connected to the mother board has started ticking....showing no bolts...but the ammeter is ticking every second or so up to 1 amp and back to zero. I'm guessing you guys are gonna tell me it's a U2 chip fault, but was wondering if anybody else had any other pearls of wisdom that may help. Thanks in advance for any help. Neil |
