This is because no wifi. you have to repair wifi then it will be ok. 100%

I got the same problem after restored to ios 7.1.2 cannot activate and error 0XE800004 occured. There was no wifi to activate via wifi. The satus of my iphone before was disabled. Any help please...

me face the same prblm 2 days before what i do it reheat the wifi ic and suddenly connect with itunes my luck its come okk....u can try this method

Hello, Guys I Have the same problem with an iPhone which was working very well and is originally unlocked but Can not activate with iTunes it shows the code : 0XE800004

Well! I think we four or 3 people who have this problem, I think should use an older Version of iTunes or using a Macintosh system. so my friends don't waste your time with hardware problems... we have something in Commun and is we have the problem of "No Wifi" and "0XE800004" so I will try some of my sollutions.
Same Problem for other people in the forum sorry I can't put links i'm new

My version of iTunes is up to date and my S.O. is Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 is also updated. This error comes from iOS 7.1.2 if you downgrade to iOS 6.1.3 this problem with activation disappears, but the problem with the wifi connection persists. iOS 7.1.2 modifies something in the iPhone 4 that causes this error.

Your phone problem obviously hardware provlem but this is sw section

this is a software problem, because I downgraded to 6.1.3 & I could active it through itunes
who has SHSH,able to downgrade
Apple stop's active these iphone with wifi broblem for some reasons

no,I can't
I tried 2-3 iphone 4 (no WIFI)
Apple doesn't active these phones anymore on iOS7
but if you saved SHSH,you can downgrade easy & able to active it via itunes
even you didn't have SHSH ,you can downgrade but get tethered jailbreak
so 3 options for who has iphone 4 no wifi

1- downgrade to ios 6.1.3 if you have SHSH with signal
2- hacktive ios 7 and use it like ipod, no signal
3- if you didn't save SHSH,downgrade it to ios 6.1.3 get signal but (tethered jailbreak)
