iphone 4 cant resatore to 4.01 - GSM-Forum

i tried to restore iphone 4 to version 4.01 and when i select the file, it will it will verify with apple server and begin to restore but it will freeze while restoring and it will not move again, its does not show error but it will show the restore sign moving and it will freeze. please is there a solution to it cos the phone was working before i restore it and its in recovery mode now. i used umbrella to kick it out of recovery mode but its not working.

try to put your iPhone into DFU mode and restore again.

i have tried to put it in dfu mode but i cant restore, please any solution on what the problem could be. thanks in advance
