Iphone 4 Cant restore error 9 - GSM-Forum

jailbroke with evasi0n

Phone swithched itself off one day now stuck in boot loop with apple logo. I can get into dfu and restore mode but cant restore in itunes. Phone goes through preparing for restore and verifying with itunes then get the apple logo with progress bar it then waits a few seconds then phone disconnects and get error 9 in itunes. Tried on 3 different pc's different leads and usb ports still get the same error. could this be a problem with the phone as it seems like its disconnecting itslef from the restore process all the time.

change usb or baterry and try to restore again

the reason is you just pressed update on itunes on jaibroken device, as you said 6.1.2..

1. if your device was jaibroken, and you did just update via itunes (you will get this error)..

2.Only way to get around this error, its by using snowbreeze, and if it has any ssh valid-will be much easier for you..

3.try to use itunes 11.0.x series, before latest one..
