iphone 4 cdma doesnt restore - GSM-Forum

got iphone 4 cdma version 4.2.8 with forgotton passcode .... so i try to restore it (iPhone3,3_4.2.10_8E600_Restore.ipsw ) and get error 3194 .... i unchecked with tinyUmbrella and tried to restore again .. now i get error 11 .

any ideas ?

check hosts file in computer. c:\windows\windows32\drivers\etc\hosts. remove any line pertaining to apple

dumped shsh and created flash ( iFaith_iPhone_4-4.2.8 (8E401)_signed.ipsw ) , opened tinyumbrella and started TSS server , put phone in DFU mode , tried to restore it and get error 2 on itunes ! any ideas ?

also tried without TSS server and same error , set hosts to cydia is unchecked too .

done finally , downloaded latest ifaith since 1.1 gave error whilst creating ipsw .... worked great thanks !
