Iphone 4 crazy problem need help
 

Hello to all iphone experts


i have iphone-4 os 4.2.1 after patch for apps fone all done i just reboot my phone fone stucked.i did boot thetreat same i try to restore it with same os 4.2.1 getting error 1013.then i change to other two pc now getting error 10.even i try with dfu mode same result with recovery mode same result.fone was working before its not factory unlocked fone jst wana use it as ipod cos not unlocked.

did u remove saurik server address from host file?

Do u have adress which i need to remove???

Replace Host File With It
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

But After Complete Restore You Will Not Be To Unlock It With Ultrasn0w

i dnt want to unlock my phone just want it back to its orginal condition let me try and give u result

iPhone 4 4.2.1 if JD is tethered, need to use redsn0w_win_0.9.6b6 check on "Just boot tethered right now".

anter your phone to mode DFU with redsnow
open itune and restore your phone with costum firmware 4.2.1

i have the same problem and after using the attached hosts file all is ok now

@algerienbox i m doing with dfu mode but yes from where i can find custom file??

@mohamed75 i did try but same after change the host file.Tell me did u tried with custom file???

there is a diffrent between DFU mode of redsnow and DFU mode manuel

redsnow DFU = only for costum firmware
manuel DFU = for officiel firmware

for the costum firmware is already posted in forum .

Hello GSMunlockvilla, did you fix your iphone 4 error 1013?
If you do please kindly share your thoughts because I do have the same problem. I have iphone 4 with passcode. I did flash it with orginal iphone 4 IPSW 4.2.1 then it get stuck in recovery mode only and gave me 1013 error...

I think this iphone 4 ( OLD OWNER ) has 4.2.1 version then jailbrake for customer firmware, 4.2.1 then my customer found it somewhere. and he want me to remove passcode so I have to restore i( the only way to remove passcode from iphone 4 ) then this ERROR 1013 come out!

Any solutions or I'm F*c*k*d up! :( any suggestion will help thank you

can this use for 4.2.1 or is it for 4.1?

@Ruttus no my problem is nt yet fixed i m searching for 4.2.1 custom file i dnt think its exist;)

GSMunlockvilla try it and will work for sure! First do DFU mode then flash it :)
I used the same computer that had me erro1013 and changed " HOSTS " like mobile smoker's posted! :)

what was your trouble ? is it iphone 4 and can u unlocked it now ? with wich version did u flashed it ?

iphone 4 cannot update with ipad baseband....

hello, I have the same problem with my iphone 4 while restoring it gives the error 1013. I changed the host file, reinstalled itunes, checked with DFU mode. but same problem.

What can be the solution?

final solution iphone 4.2.1
 

1. Connect your phone with PC and switch off...

2. Open redsnow and choose Original firmware...

3. If you have newboot just press " yes"

4. now click " Next"

5. Choose " Just Enter pwned DFU mode right now"

6 now click " Next" again "Next" and follow the screen....

After that open itunes and press " Shift + Restore" and choose custom firmware 4.2.1...

it will finish very quickly ......

Once you update you firmware....follow this...

1. Connect your phone with PC and switch off...

2. Open redsnow and choose Original firmware...

3. If you have newboot just press " yes"

4. now click " Next"

5. Choose Only " Install Cydia"

6. now click " Next" again "Next" and follow the screen....

If you r getting White Cydia Icon just switch of your phone and open redsnow choose Stock firmware 4.2.1 and choose the option "Just boot tethered right now" and click "next" again "next" then follow the screen...then you will see the cydia...

Finally you can see your phones is with your old Baseband. now just you can install the ultrasnow 1.2 from Cydia adding this link "ultrasn0w.com"
and every time when the iphone stuck on reboot use redsnow 6b5 or 6b6 with oly checking on "Just boot tethered right now".

No Need Custom Firmware Just Replace Host File
Or Remove 74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com From Your Host File
& Reboot Pc Working 10000%

THANKYOU SOOO MUCH i was having the same error 1013 and 1011 i came across this forum and gave it a shot soo glad i did this saved my iPhone ^_^

problime solved just change hosts and try with coustom firmwear
