How to Unjailbreak an iPhone 4

How to Unjailbreak an iPhone 4
Jailbreaking is the process of modifying your iPhone so that you can install customized features and applications not available through Apple's App Store. While not illegal, jailbreaking violates the terms and conditions of Apple's warranty. Therefore, you may decide after jailbreaking iPhone 4 MC603Bthat you want to unjailbreak your phone. You can unjailbreak your iPhone by restoring the phone to its original factory settings through the iTunes sync process.

Things You'll Need: iPhone data cable

1

Double-click the iTunes icon on your computer to open the iTunes program.
2

Attach the iPhone data cable to the bottom of your iPhone and connect the other end of the data cable to a USB port on your computer.
3

Select your iPhone from the list of "Devices" on the left side of the iTunes window.
4

Click the "Restore" button located at the bottom of the iTunes window.
5

Click the "Yes" button when prompted by iTunes to create a backup of your iPhone.
6

Wait while iTunes backs up and restores your iPhone. At the conclusion of the process, your iPhone will automatically power off and back on.
7

Click "yes" when prompted by iTunes to restore your iPhone from a backup. Select the backup created in Step 5.
8

Wait while iTunes restores the non-jailbreak related settings, features and applications to your iPhone. iTunes will prompt you when the process completes.
