Iphone 4 - error 2009
 

Hi
I have one IPHONE 4 on recovery mode, I want to update it to 4.1 before the realising of the 4.2 by Apple, but I always get error 2009 !
What is the problem? suggestions? solution?

Same error 2009, tryed on 3 computers ( windows ) and ( Mac ) tryed with different cable, on dfu and repair mode, the same erro

Sounds like hardware/USB problem.

No, the phone conect ok, no problem with sound or driver, ther phone start restaurer but no finish

What phone do you have? Did you install iPad baseband 6.15? What firmware did you try to install? Custom or stock? Is your hosts file pointing to Cydia?

Iphone 4, try to update for 4.2.1 I cant see version and boot, my customers try to update and now the itunes only 2009 error

If you don't want to unlock or have your baseband already above version 1.59.00, then you can do this:
- clean your hosts file (remove all lines with apple in it)
- reboot
- put phone into DFU mode
- restore 4.2.1 with latest iTunes
- If you still get an error on two different computers+cables, it's a hardware problem of your iPhone 4.
