has your iPhone 4 ever been serviced, aka opened up and put back together?

has it been ever water damaged?

do you have a protecting case on it?

then most likely you haven't put all the screws/metal components back together, obviously there is a problem with the GPS antenna which is the bezel on which the mute button and the volume buttons are

are you having problems with wifi and bluetooth as well?

I don't know if i offend you by suggesting the following to you, but we must get it out of the way, disregard it if you are experienced with iphone 4 screen replacement and the whole nine yards and you are 100% sure of your work when you did the screen replacement.

I suggest you take it apart and put it back together using a tutorial guide like this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wp8wv8TYBfI

make sure you have all screws, metal parts and shields back in their place.

also check if the gold metal connector on top of the motherboard is there or if it's missing.
