iphone 4 hang on Activate.... - GSM-Forum

4.3.1 firmware running on it , and bb is 4.10.1
it is used with gevey sim. also it was jail broken.

Now it hang with apple logo , can not restore 4.3.1 firmware 3194 error occurred.

and also it's hang on "Activate" stage during cydia intall.

Kindly guide me how to restore old firmware.

use preserve baseband method and restore with 5.1

try ifaith to save blobs for 4.3.1 before you try hanky panky witb 5.1

Use ifaith to save shsh
that will be for 4.3.1
then use that to build custom ipsw
then restore using that ipsw
then jailbreak
then enjoy

What devices and iOS versions Can Use iFaith?
iPhone 4: iOS 4.0.x, iOS 4.1, iOS 4.2.x, iOS 4.3.x, iOS 5.0, iOS 5.0.1

don't upgrade to 5.1 or u get tethered jailbreak...why you want that. just wait till untethered and then update.

if you can live with tethered jb then ignore everyword I said but still save shsh via ifaith just in case you change mind.
