your phone is not factory unlocked..and you make already update 5.0.1
so now you have to wate for new Gevey soppurt.

if you make downgrade 5.0.1 to 4.1 that time you face same problem.

THE ISSUE EXPLAINED IN PLAIN TONE {correct me if i am wrong}

Initially, u have Iphone4 with iOS4.0.1 but u upgrade to iOS5.0.1. So you detect that your SIM ain't working. You downgrade back to ios4.0.1 but your Iphone doesn't accept the SIM anymore.

REASON

==>Your Iphone4 is not factory unlocked. You use Gevey to make it unlocked.
==>Once upgrade the iOS, the baseband will be upgraded too. But when you downgrade, the baseband remains and never downgrade.
==>So, the Gevey works only for the lower baseband. But no exploit yet, by GEVEY, for the higher baseband

SOLUTION

Buy another Gevey-like exploit solution for your device that currently works for the baseband.
