Thought I would ask before I give it a try had ridiculous prices to unlock my wifes
Ipone 4 from T mobil

is this mob ok to do the job following your instructions

looks like this mob will not work with this !!! had a go at putting it in DFU mode
following utube link with no joy ----- soon as i did screen went black thought it was bricked --- iTunes come back on saying error recovery needed with a full restore which wiped everything but at least get the phone back oh well looks like am stuck with T-mobile ?

try to kick out from recovery mode by using Tiny Umbrella application on windows or MAC...

Hi decco downloaded

lots of different versions don't no if that makes any odds ?
any way run it tried to put it in DFU mode just got black screen on phone
iTunes then come up with not able to restore iPhone on this pc try using another
pc ? so will try on wife's laptop

yes, itunes will show that iphone is in RECOVERY mode if iphone is in DFU mode.. its not error.. phone will show black screen .. just continue..

did what you said continue ----- which i did and now have the screen on the phone with white OK
been on now over an hour ---- but will just wait fingers crossed

Ok started again ------- white ok came up in a different position than the last
Had to go out so left the program running came back later to find the program had finished
And the phone had many lines filling the screen ------ with NO white OK

Decco could you advise me on the nex step ? As I don't want to disconnection the phone
From the laptop untill I know what to do next
