Iphone 4 restore problem. Error 3194??? - GSM-Forum

All the members I need help on error 3194. I have passcode problem and tried to restore to 7.1.2. It givers an error 3194. I also have tried on host file
I.e. c drive>windows>system32>drivers>etc>hosts
Pls anyone in the forum help me to find solution for the problem.

2 Errors.
1. 3194 means no authorization granted from apple server for phone to proceed flash. This can be due to wrong entry in hosts file. or
2. Phone data mismatch from stored on apple server.
Which means either serial or imei are not matched with each other as stored in server database.
To check put phone in recovery and connect to iTunes.
S/N will be shown in iTunes window.Then put it in DFU and using USBview check IMEI.
Match with Apple GSX info.
