iphone 4 stuck in apple logo 4.0.2 - GSM-Forum

hi guys, i need help on my iph4, jailbreaked and unlocked, worked before, wanted to restart the procedure so i did "reset all setting" phone clear. now i am stuck on the apple logo and does not respond at all, i can get to recovery mode but not DFU mode. tried to restore 4.1 but getting error,

can someone help me to get the phone back to normal mode so i can redo the procedure.

DO THIS CAREFULLY OR YOU MAY UPDATE THE BASEBAND
open tiny umbrella 4.16
save you 4.1 SHSH.
run TTS server.
now open itunes and restore 4.1
use Limera1n to install Cydia and ultrasn0w to unlock bb 1.59.00

Go to DFU mode should always work. What errors do you get? Any more details? Did you try TinyUmbrella's Kick button? If this doesn't help, restore is necessary. For iPhone 4 update to 4.1, but without updating baseband, like previous poster described.

daaamn, i just updated to 4.1 and now my modem firmware has become 2.10.04, feel sooo dumb idiot, i panicked since the phone was not responding at all and i thought i bricked it, now everytime i try to restore i get 3194 or 3002 error

If you already upgraded baseband, there is no way back. You cannot unlock anymore.

Error 3194 means you tried to restore to a lower firmware version, which is not allowed by Apple. You can still downgrade firmware if you have shsh backup. But I don't see any reason to downgrade as you can jailbreak 4.1 now with Limera1n.

thanks https for helping. limerain doesnt work for me, tried beta 2 and 4. limerain cant be added in the main screen, is it because of the modem update 2.10?

any available solution for downgrading the modem firmware 2.10.04? i have universal sim (one sim) as well as original AT&T line as well, sim failure on 4.1 ver and limerain does not get installed, maybe somehow i can delete the lockdown folder. adding afc2add without cydia? plse help guys.

No, not possible to downgrade modem version. But there are rumors that geohot also releases an unlock, so there's hope. But I still don't expect a new unlock before firmware 4.2 release.
